return
in pieces we rust, return
our precious scrap mettle to the kettle
the trypot boils furious the brows
we resort to dictionaries for meanings obscure, unsure
eventually become the oil of our essence,
our lingering, eternal presence
in the guts of our friends
we make, after churning about, amends

the trypot boils furious the brows
we resort to dictionaries for meanings obscure, unsure
eventually become the oil of our essence,
our lingering, eternal presence
in the guts of our friends
we make, after churning about, amends

tj speckman rest in peace
tj speckman blew his brains out today.
i know only the basic information and it is all hearsay.
this guy was smart, sarcastic, competitive, and when you saw his more tender side it was something else....he would drop his guard and one could see his vulnerabilities, but only if he wanted you to. he was a shrewd card player.
he turned me on to some great music including the dukes of the stratosphere.
he was a fiesty volleyball player, basketballer, and frisbeed freak.
he'd chainsmoke and watch tv with the curtains drawn and cuss out all the stupid shit he watched. jeezus christ tj what the hell went wrong.
it has been awhile since we lived in lawrence, lotso our gang.
i only saw tj a few times since i left there in 1990. to speculate on why he did what he did is for those who were his friends and family more recently.
for them and their pain i also am pained... and the thought that we've lost a good man on this plane of existence.
i am posting some photos of tj and the friends who loved and knew him.
he is giving god some serious shit right about now i suspect. bless him in the way which he would desire. carry on.
